Hue kite festival 2019

From June 8th to June 12th, 2019, the Hue Kite Festival themed “Honoring Hue kite art” will take place in Hue city.
According to Thua Thien Hue department of Tourism, Hue Kite Festival 2019 program includes kite art exhibition, kite-making and decoration workshop, music and fashion show which will be held in Tu Tuong (the Four Elephant) park. The seven-day-long kite exhibition will bring various activities such as kite display, exhibition, the parade of kite-making artisans and kite-making workshop.

Programs of Hue Kite Festival 2019

On the sidelines of the Festival, folk games, competitions, and kite-painting competition themed “Childhood’s dreams” will also be organized. Kite flying activity will be organized in Noon Gate from 4:00 pm to 6:00 am on June 8th and June 9th. Hue Kite Festival will be held at 8:00 June 8th.

Activities held within the festival will affirm the title of Hue city – the city of Festival, contribute to building Hue as the capital of festival, and promote local potentials to attract far and near tourists. The festival aims to diversify tourists’ activities during visiting Thua Thien Hue province, introduce spectacular festivals as well as new innovative tourism activities to far and near tourists.
